Our story

My grandpa Fonda has been a major influence all along. He owns and operates a pig farm. Watching him work, manage his livestock, and take pride in his operation inspired me to build something of my own. His experience and dedication to farming inspired my interest in breeding and producing high-quality pigs.

In 2021, that passion turned into Wapiti Show Pigs. With more of a focus on premium genetics, my goal was to create a program that blends my livestock knowledge with modern show industry standards. Every decision is made with the exhibitors in mind – aiming to produce pigs that are competitive and built to succeed.

What began as a personal goal has grown into a commitment to supporting 4-H and FFA members by providing quality pigs. I strive to have a welcoming business for youth to be able to learn and grow in the project. This business is built on hard work and a genuine love for the show pig industry.

Our approach

Because we cannot predict exactly how many hogs will be available each year, we collect contact information for potential buyers and then reach out as soon as we know how many hogs we have available. If you are interested in purchasing show hogs, please fill out the contact information on the “Contact” page. Buyers are contacted in the order they contact us, so act quickly if you want show hogs!
